developed at RAND Corporation. The software produces a
multi-gigabyte SAS and Oracle data warehouse summarizing healthcare
claims data that can be used to guide disease management and quality
programs.
94-94. Project Director at Genentech, Inc.
Provided six months of consulting under the aegis of Biometric Research
Institute (CRO) to Genentech’s National Cooperative Growth Study, a
post-marketing project designed to provide scientific data to
investigators using recombinant growth hormone. Emphasized
professional data management standards that would preserve the scientific
integrity of the project. Managed a 20,000-patient database in
Oracle and SAS.
90-94. Director of Data Management at Vestar, Inc.
Directed the development of international clinical data management and
information systems, with strong emphasis on SAS data management.
Supervised clinical programmers, data processors, clinical monitors,
research administrators, document management staff and medical
