REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Requirements

Masters degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science (or closely related) with an emphasis in the following: machine learning, statistics, and data mining.

Preferred Experience

• Proven knowledge of data mining and machine learning methods and tools (e.g. Weka, SAS, UNDO API, R etc.)
• Java, J2EE and test frameworks (e.g.as JUnit, XMLUnit, DBUnit)
• Hadoop, Hbase, Pig or Mapreduce, Sawzall and Bigtable
• RDBMS, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL
• C++ and excellent mathematical skills are a plus
• Scripting languages, such as bash, Python, Perl
• XML technologies
• Linux/UNIX

• Exploratory data analysis and in data mining processes (unbalanced and unclean data)
• Analyzing and modeling large industrial data sets.
• Applying data mining technique, statistics and statistical models
• Ability to function as a entrepreneur and work under aggressive deadlines
• Excellent research and troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Strive for continued improvement
