Tax Policy Analyst - DOF (New York, NY)

The Department of Finance, Office of Tax Policy, seeks an analyst to assist in data mining, model development, and writing data verification and reporting programs. The candidate will perform a variety of tasks including using SAS to merge large datasets, critically analyzing data, and working closely with staff from Tax Policy and other divisions.

A master’s degree from an accredited college plus two years experience is required. The selected candidate will have strong programming, data analysis, statistical sampling and data mining experience. Knowledge of taxes preferred. Candidates will be required to submit a computer programming sample before the interview.
