Risk/Fraud Software Engineer
BOKU is seeking a rock star engineer to don super hero cape, join our fraud and risk team and help stop the bad guys. In addition to being a top-notch engineer, you should look forward to dealing with large amounts of data, assembling profiles, identifying usage patterns and integrating fraud and risk solutions across our payments platform.
Requirements: - Experience in multi-tiered, scalable distributed systems in a Linux environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of object oriented programming, preferably Java.
- Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
- An obsessive interest in robust system design and data modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a small, tight-knit engineering team.
- Ability to scoff heedlessly and succeed brilliantly at impossible tasks under insane deadlines.
- Expertise in relational database usage, SQL and handling large data sets.
- Experience with data and communication security.
- Experience with SAS, risk and fraud management or rules engines a definite plus.
- Computer Science degree from a top-tier school.
- Master's Degree with 1+ year of related experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of related experience.
