Post doctoral Research Scientist - TGN (Tampa, FL)
TransGenex Nanobiotech Inc is currently seeking to fill the above position effective immediately.
Responsibilities of the position includes: - Conduct multi-disciplinary research involving microfabrication, chemistry, materials science, nanobiotechnology and molecular biology.
- Research and development of chemical/biological assays for human in vitro diagnostic applications.
Requirements
Minimum qualification: Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or a related discipline.
Preferences will be given to individuals with - Strong communication skills: both written and oral communication.
- interpersonal skills, and able to work effectively in teams in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in diagnostics device design and development; and good publications record. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- US citizen or permanent resident;
- Other requirements include: A person with hands on, driven, takes initiative;
- Project leadership and project management experience; ability to write funding proposals;
- willingness to work in a small company environment with potential for equity ownership.
