Director of Biostatistics and Sr. Biostatistcian (Cambridge, MA)Bioforce Solutions is looking for a Director level and Sr, Bio statisticians. As the Head of Bio statistics, you will be develop, manage, and lead a team of biostatisticians to provide statistical consultation and analysis in support of research & development, clinical testing, and manufacturing. Responsibilities: In this position you will be represent Biostatistics on project teams and serve as primary liaison to key internal clients with regard to resource needs and time lines. You will also develop Biostatistics procedures and guidelines to comply with corporate quality polices. As the Head of Biostatistics you will interact with FDA or other regulatory agencies as appropriate in statistical aspects of study design, data analysis and statistical procedures; interpret the project implications of regulatory guidelines. You will also provide technical leadership and initiate methodological research to improve the methods current in use. Qualifications: Candidates for this position must have Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics, plus 6-8 years of directly related managerial experience in the In vitro diagnostics industry. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience in analysis of high dimensional data, especially clustering and classification methods and predictive statistical models for genetics and genomics data. Ideally, candidates will also have Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry experience in assay validation, quality control, process optimization and validation, design of experiments, and pharmacokinetics. Candidates should posses the ability to provide clear, technically sound, well-communicated guidance to non-statisticians.
