Senior Product Manager, Data Quality, Reporting & Analysis - CUnet (Paramus, NJ)

Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible to lead the planning, development and daily execution of all data handling, data integration, reporting and analytics products & solutions developed on behalf of our School clients. Oversees data collection strategy, business analysis and reporting with a hands-on ability to analyze data and lead a team of analysts to product high quality reports and provide specific data-driven recommendations on actions to improve performance for both internal and external clients.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Act as Product Manager for all reporting supporting internal and external clients related to all services and products CUnet is offering. Products include but are not limited to Vendor Management, Call Center, Paid Search, Mobile, Social Media, Display and other Interactive solutions.
• Define standardized monthly reporting and build operational processes throughout all lines of businesses, departments and groups to execute.
• Define process for ad-hoc analysis in support of the School Delivery team
• Act as Product Manager for Lead Validation, Verification and Scoring products.
• Evaluate current performance data structure, and manage change to ensure analytical capabilities have necessary data available.
• Develop, establish and take ownership of an automated data pass back solutions to receive student performance data from client’s systems (Salesforce, CampusVue, etc.)
• Standardize Complex Product Solutions based on business requirements
• Perform data modeling, application/product development, technical product planning and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements
• Specify business systems including inputs, outputs, data, human and automated to meet information processing and reporting objectives for internal and external clients
• Thoroughly understand data, specifically those that support marketing programs and measurement throughout all online and offline channels.
• Articulate complex mathematical solutions at a high level to internal and external clients.
• Develop quality assurance methodologies and reporting documentation, participating the testing of campaigns and development of reports, identifying and researching data discrepancies, and escalating issues to other team members where necessary.
• Use statistical modeling and other quantitative and research analytics (Linear and Non-Linear Regression Analysis, Multivariate Analysis, Bayesian Methods, Time Series Analysis, Generalized Linear Models, etc.)
• Develop robust and nimble dynamic models using Predictive Modeling, Time Series Analysis, Data Mining, Control Theory, Optimization and Simulation Techniques.
• Play a key role in the evaluation and selection of a new business intelligence tools, components and BI platform architectures.
• Contributes to, reviews and approves the architecture for all business intelligence solution components
• Reviews and approves the translation of business requirements into functional application specifications and logical data model requirements
• In depth understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts and product development
• Lead projects through the all stages of the development lifecycle
• Evaluates employees, and documents in accordance with company policies and practices
• Participates in selection and hiring of new team members to provide reporting & analytical support to internal and external clients.
• Translate insights into specific actionable recommendations

• Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics or a Related Field

• E – Experience building repeatable reporting solutions presenting complex data for analysis.
• E – Experience in data integration strategies between multiple internal and external systems
• E – Experience leading team of 3+ analysts and delivering client service (either internally or externally)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and will use hands and fingers to write, operate a computer keyboard and/or a calculator. Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to talk and hear in order to exchange information with other employees, customers or vendors. Employee is required to move about the office as necessary to attend meetings, or transport records or files.
