HR Data Analyst - NavyFederal (Vienna, VA)
Purpose: To optimize the performance of business operations (HR Databases, project mgmt & dashboard) by analyzing current, and predicting future performance.
Responsibilities: - Defines, analyzes and studies operational issues and data.
- Applies analytical techniques to solve operational issues.
- Synthesizes results of analyses, develops and make recommendations and present results.
- Participates in and/or facilitates the implementation of products, services, and operational changes.
- Manages projects for a department and/or business unit(s).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Demonstrated experience managing large cross-functional, multidimensional teams and complex projects.
- Highly refined skill gained from multiple years of interpreting advanced statistical analysis and modeling tools.
- In-depth knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including sophisticated statistical methods and modeling.
- Demonstrated experience identifying relevant analytical problems, determining appropriate diagnostic methods, and solving unique and complex issues/problems.
- Highly developed communication skills including preparing and presenting results, findings and alternatives, and influencing management decision making.
- Extensive experience with PeopleSoft, from query reporting, to implementation.
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:- Thorough knowledge of and extensive experience with, credit union or retail banking operations
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
