Director of Analytics - Alliant (Westchester, NY)

Alliant is looking for a Director of Analytics to work in our northern Westchester, New York office. This is a key position, responsible for providing technical leadership and managing the work processes and output of our team of analysts and statisticians. He/she will work actively with the account management and sales teams to set analytic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a wide-range of experience building regression models and presenting the results to marketing teams, senior management and clients. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to develop new methodologies building on existing intellectual capital.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong quantitative/analytical skills and extensive attention to detail
• High energy level; flexible, adaptive, inquisitive and keen understanding of technology
• Experience managing a team of highly skilled statisticians and programmers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with large-scale databases, PC software and database manipulation

• Graduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research or related field
• 8+ years experience in statistical analysis, segmentation, predictive modeling, consulting and project management
• 5+ years Direct Marketing Industry experience
• Extensive experience programming in SAS
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL a plus
• Experience in defining/designing/building/managing a data warehouse is a plus
• Working knowledge of Web Analytics and/or Consumer Risk Management practices a plus
