Senior Manager of Marketing Sciences for Expanding Product Offering!

Pri-Med is a leading healthcare information and education brand with an immediate opportunity for an analytical-minded individual to join its team and provide insight into the best ways to optimize sales and marketing opportunities. As the Manager of Strategic Analysis for Pri-Med Access, you will have the unique opportunity to significantly contribute to the evolution of this new product by illustrating to Pri-Med’s clients their return on investment in Pri-Med’s products. In this largely client-facing role, you will be the focal point of sales and marketing strategy by performing high-level quantitative analysis or relevant pharmaceutical and physician-level data and communicating that sophisticated analysis to expert and non-expert audiences alike. You will be in the collaborative position of providing support to Sales, Physician Recruitment, and Client Services, and will partner closely with Sales and Product Management in particular to positively impact revenue generation through your analysis of pertinent data. This analysis in particular will likely involve physician segmentation and ROI analysis. Please note: telecommuting is an option for this role.
Two things are absolutely essential to be considered for and to ultimately find success in this role: a deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and the physician decision-making process, and agility/experience working with all relevant pharmaceutical information (physician-level prescribing, drug classification, pricing, etc.).
Requirements: - Advanced degree in a quantitative field
- 4+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong deductive reasoning, logic, analytical and problem solving skills based on solid business acumen
- Hands on with high-level quantitative analysis to develop strategies
- Experience in promotional response modeling in the pharmaceutical or consumer arena
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources including IMS, Verispan, Wolters-Kluwer
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with a marketing or strategy consulting firm is desired
- Expert user of SAS, SQL and other analytical tools
