We are seeking another statistician to join our Environmental Risk & Research Division. This dynamic and expanding team of environmental scientists, analysts and engineers is working on cutting-edge applied research in mapping environmental risks such as flooding and the possible effects of climate change.

The position will involve the application of a wide range of innovative statistical techniques to hydrological, oceanographic, social and environmental data sets. There will also be opportunities to develop new applications of statistics.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop their skills. An MSc in statistics or a good undergraduate maths degree that covers a wide range of statistical techniques is required. A good working knowledge of the statistical program R or S-PLUS would be an advantage. An interest in hydrology or risk analysis is also desirable.
