Data Analyst (Omaha, NE)

Major Job Function:

Design, implement and support data warehousing. Define user interfaces, functional specifications and business rules. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Requires a bachelor''s degree with at least 5 -7years of experience in data warehousing practices, standard concepts and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Participates in the design, creation, and maintenance of EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse). Responsible for quality control and auditing of EDW to ensure the accuracy of data. Resolve data conflicts and inappropriate use of data. Able to work with management to develop EDW strategies to support company needs and advise and consult with users on accessing EDW.

• Assist users with accessing Data.
• Attend Team Meetings (Project and Department).
• Enter time and complete status reports
• Check and update Magic and Project Server.
• Production of change control documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing best practices.
• Good understanding of tools used to access and present data.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems
