Web and Direct Marketing Analytics Manager - Adobe (San Jose, CA)

Job Description

  • The opportunity is within the consumer and hosted services division of Adobe. This group operates like a start up and we are looking to build a team that is aggressive, nimble and can thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • The position is data and analytics intensive. It is responsible for developing the vision for the consumer services business dashboard, as well as performance analytics for all the communication being created. This will also include reporting for direct campaigns including segmentation analysis, web marketing (banners/ads/search engine), email and in-product communications as well as in box programs.

Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for the presentation and administration of the consumer services business dash board; define metric needs, monitor and refine the dash board based on changing, evolving business needs
  • Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for the tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of all traffic programs/campaigns
  • Liaise and be the point person for the development teams with regard to business needs and requirements for service metrics and data acquisition
  • Advise on data architecture needs which can adequately support future analytics efforts
  • Track, measure, analyze results and recommend changes to campaigns and communication strategy based on analysis and results
  • Manage A/B and multivariate testing calendar and drive analytics and reporting associated with product, offer and yield optimization tests
  • Audit content published for search engine optimization compliance
  • Create detailed search engine optimization recommendations for assigned sites
  • Track and report search engine referrals, keyword rankings and other SEO traffic metrics for assigned sites to stakeholders
  • Work with and educate design, editorial, production and engineering groups on implementation of SEO best practices
  • Implement strategies for attaining high rankings for relevant, high-volume search terms
  • Keep up to date with competitive trends and best practices in web analytics

Requirements
  • Over 5 years of experience in data and web analytics
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques for major search engines
  • Experience with web content management systems
  • Understanding of search engine ranking algorithms and how search engine spiders work and proficient with SEO tools
  • A quantitative approach to traffic measurement and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as sound business judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
  • Work under pressure and to tight deadlines in an uncertain and changing environment

Education:

BA degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, CS, Operations Research/Mgmt. Science, or other quant-intensive science or social science required. MS or MBA preferred
