Numerical Economist (East England, UK)

This role would well suit a candidate with a strong interest in economic research and intelligence that is both keen and adept at applying econometric analysis and modelling skills to real life economic issues and business problems.
You will be lead analyst for core research programmes on the regional economy, liaising with key clients and stakeholders in an attempt to introduce and encourage new business into the region that can contribute to its sustainable growth.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be at ease in a client facing role as you take responsibility for managing key working business relationships with internal and external clients. You will have 2-3 years experience in similar Economic research or Economist role where you have had a direct impact on social and economic policy making. You will have highly numerate degree; Msc preferred, and have cultivated advanced statistical skills in range of techniques spanning time series and regression analysis.
