Symitar System Analyst - Chevron (Oakland, CA)

Chevron Federal Credit Union is searching for a Symitar System Analyst for its Oakland office located near the 12 Street/City Center BART Station.

This position is responsible for designing, programming and maintaining business applications in a Symitar Episys environment utilizing PowerOn (Repgen) and other appropriate programming languages. Adhering to full project lifecycle development; analyzing requirements, designing specifications, developing code, testing, troubleshooting and implementing programs into the production system(s). This position will help set the Symitar application development standards and methods for software integration and external application interface development involving third party platforms. This position is also participates in the day-to-day administration of the Symitar Episys system, Help Desk support, and in the loading of updates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Works with process owners and identifying information technology solutions that enable business process improvements, new products and service delivery enhancements.
• Provides a high level of end-user support. Support strategic initiatives by maintaining awareness and exposure to new technologies.

• Must have at least one year of experience in a Symitar Episys environment using PowerOn and at least two years of experience in Information Technology.
• Development experience in web applications and knowledge of SQL and Access desirable. Bachelors of Science degree preferred.
