Web Analyst - Zenex Partners (San Jose, CA)
This is a Contract position.

Must Have: - 4+ years' experience in web analytics, performance measurement, and analysis supporting an e-commerce website required
- Advanced skills with an ASP-based analytics solution: experience with WebTrend required
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Software required
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful patterns and insights from multiple data sources
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to present detailed analysis and reports to senior management
- Bachelor degree in business, statistics, economics, or related field
Nice to Have: - Knowledge and experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization techniques
- Knowledge and experience with primary research (such as surveys, focus groups, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with SPSS
Responsibilities: - Function as the research owner of the Web Analytics tool, serving as liaison to technology staff and operations, with respect to improving the efficiency of WebTrend analytics tool, including usage and performance.
- Drive data-driven insights on visitor behavior by analyzing website data on traffic patterns, order volume, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, and product selection, etc.
- Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve web site effectiveness by drilling into web analytics data
- Participate in web site projects as a measurements expert, identifying reporting requirements, monitoring the reporting implementation and evaluating post-launch metrics
- Manage key metrics to measure website performance and maintain dashboards and general reporting activities
- Conduct quantitative survey research and data analysis, such as monthly website satisfaction survey.
