We are currently seeking a bright, energetic, hands-on project manager for the role of
Statistical Analyst, Sr. Statistical Analyst, or Sr. Statistician.
The person in this position will:
- Manage all aspects of predictive modeling projects
- Be the senior technical resource for assigned projects
- Develop and mentor junior analysts (depending on level)
- Provide pre and post sales technical assistance to clients
Qualifications:
Level of experience will determine the title for which candidates will be considered.
- Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field; PhD is a plus
- Professional experience building predictive models on very large datasets
- Thorough understanding of data reduction techniques, clustering, and GLM required; experience with neural networks and geospatial analytics a plus
- Deep understanding of the business of insurance and insurance data; insurance professional designations that demonstrate knowledge are a plus (FCAS, ACAS, CPCU); experience applying advanced predictive analytics to develop insurance rating plans is ideal
- Demonstrated ability to successfully mentor junior analysts
- Ability to manage projects to deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain technical results to technical and non-technical audiences
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance along with flexible health and dependent care spending accounts, commute assistance, 401(k), and vacation. A relocation package is available.
