For Clearstream Services Luxembourg, Clearstream IT, Settlement and Custody we are currently looking for a
Software Engineer Graduate
You will make significant contributions to the full-life cycle of software developments within Clearstream Services.
Your responsibilities - Participate in a broad range of development activities from Functional Design through to Acceptance Test (for example: functional and technical design, coding of solutions, testing at all levels, analyse & solving production application issues, etc…)
- Deal with the technical know-how with regards to the technologies used by Clearstream Services on the project you are working on
- Obtain a good knowledge of Clearstream Bank's business by on-the-job, internal and external training
Our requirements- University degree in a computer based discipline preferable. Degree in Mathematics or one with a high numerical/computational content (civil engineering) will be considered as an asset
- Young graduates are welcome. A first experience in an UNIX environment is a plus but not a requirement
- Good knowledge and hand-on experience of the following technologies: C++ or Java/Object Oriented Design & Development, Sun Solaris, UNIX, Oracle, PL/SQL, Clearcase experience is desirable
- Fluent in both written and spoken English. German and/or French will be an asset
- Banking experience is not required but is preferred
- Team player and excellent communications skills
