Statistical Modeling Analyst / Manager - Chase Card Services (Wilmington, DE)
The modeling analyst/manager will be responsible for:- Developing, implementing, and maintaining statistical models, segmentation strategies, and other advanced analytical techniques.
- Areas of focus could include risk and/or marketing areas for acquisitions and/or portfolio.
- Perform data extraction and statistical analyses using logistic regression, multiple regression, CART, multivariate analysis and sampling.
- Prepare statistical analyses using tools such as SAS and SPlus statistical software and present the results of their analyses through PowerPoint, Word, and Excel documents.
- Maintaining client interactions and, depending on experience, may have management responsibility for one or more direct reports.
Qualifications
Qualifications include: - MS or PhD in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research (or equivalent quantitative field).
- Minimum 1 years experience in statistical modeling and ability to utilize various modeling techniques (i.e. regression, clustering, experimental design) - financial industry background preferred.
- Proven record to contribute as a strong team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, diverse environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations via the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experienced programming knowledge in both SAS and SQL, Operating systems experience with UNIX and relational database knowledge such as ORACLE.
