The Senior Vice President, Customer Relationship Management will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Bank¢s customer relationship management (CRM) activities, and in so doing, elevate CRM from a supporting role to a strategic driver of the Bank¢s business. Establishing a best-in-class CRM function is especially critical in light of the Bank¢s stated desire to drive growth through the existing footprint and customer base rather than relying on acquisitions. The Senior Vice President, Customer Relationship Management is expected to develop a leading edge CRM competency within Bank of the West. As such, the successful candidate will be a visionary with a demonstrated track record of bringing ideas to fruition, resulting in profitable growth for the enterprise. The Senior Vice President, Customer Relationship Management will enhance the Bank¢s knowledge of its customers and target customers in all segments, and will provide the analytics, tools and experience to enable the Bank to grow existing customer relationships as well as develop new ones, all the while focusing on profitability.
This executive will be a catalyst for positive change and will lead the necessary evolution in the CRM function. She/he will develop and employ innovative, efficient, disciplined processes to develop consistent and thorough best practices with regard to segmentation, data analytics, research, direct marketing, campaign reporting and use of the marketing database. It should also be noted that while the Senior Vice President, Customer Relationship Management will be expected to be the specialist in leading the organization to excellence in CRM, analytics and segmentation practices, she/he must have broad marketing and business acumen enabling contributions beyond the scope of CRM. She/he will be an integral member of the marketing leadership team.
