Sr. Statistician/Methodologist (Philadelphia, PA)Senior Statistician / Methodologist, Base up to $95k + bonus For Int'l Market Research Pharma Company -- Fort Washington, PA No relo allocation avail; must be US Citizen, PR, Green Card or TN Visa Holder Company is a supplier of research to national/international Pharmaceutical firms. This is a new position due to growth. Core competencies of job are strong people skills - choice modeling and Bayesian analysis. This position reports into the VP of Quant. Role will entail working on analysis projects with an internal Project Manager. Initially project begins with writing proposal on analysis to be done and explaining this proposal back to the PM. The analytic portion of the role involves quantitative work to make sure questionnaire matches methodology. Presentation skill must be strong so as to explain the results of the findings on the data back to both the Project Manager and to the external client - must be able to take quantitative analytic results and explain in laymen's terms. Basic Qualifications: Proficient in designing and analyzing Multivariate statistical techniques such as Choice Models , Bayesian analysis, Latent Class Modeling, Max-Diff analysis, and Structural Modeling. Constructing simulators for choice models as well as data merges for the analysis of secondary data. (VB and or Excel platforms). Participate in the research process from the initial request for proposal in terms of writing and recommending analytical and methodological criteria. Analysis, interpretation and presentation of complex results to internal managers and clients. Must be able to function in a collaborative team environment and contribute good inter-personal skills with wide variety of diversely talented individuals. Comfortable interacting, mentoring and training project management on statistical issues. Independent thinker who enjoys solving analytical problems outside the obvious mathematical box. Excellent communication skills in both oral and written and presentation modalities. Master's degree in Statistics or similar quantitative field of study with at least 5-7- years of experience or Ph.D. in Statistics or similar quantitative field of study with at least 2 -3 years of experience. Primary proficiency in SPSS and Excel , secondary in SAS. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology field highly preferred.
