Senior Biostatistician, Oncology (Paris, France)
Description:
We have a position available for a Senior Biostatistician, interested in developing applied statistical methods in clinical research in oncology. Specific topics for which development in statistical methods is requested include:
- Phase I / II trials methodology
- Phase III trials in rare cancers
- Adaptive designs
In addition to research activity (50% of time), he/she will be involved in statistical consultation to the clinicians on study design, protocols development, data analysis, report writing, manuscript and grant proposals.
Requirements:
- PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics and 2-3 years of experience or MS Degree with at least 5 years of experience
- Thorough technical knowledge of statistical methodology and programming.

Institut Gustave-Roussy is an independent, nonprofit hospital dedicated to the care of cancer patients and to the development and advancement of biomedical research from the bench to the clinic. Recognized internationally the medical and scientific teams collaborate to form a unique environment for conducting basic and applied science. The Biostatistics and Epidemiology unit, in collaboration with its clinical and research partners, is running numerous international trials from Phase I to Phase III and meta-analyses. In this context, the biostatisticians of the unit develop applied methodology to optimize design and analysis of clinical studies.
