SAS/SQL Programmer, Contract (Bridgeport, CT)

Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured

Highly experienced developer with strong proficiency in SAS and SQL needed to develop reports and data extracts for RBS Card Services (credit card division), as part of data warehouse team. Prior experience in using SAS to create reports and data extracts is essential. Strong knowledge of SQL and using PROC SQL within SAS is also essential. Good analytical, problem-solving and communications skills are required. This position has a considerable amount of contact with internal customers to define reporting requirements, and review work products. Fast-paced work environment; resource will be working on several reporting requests in parallel. Some requests follow relatively short turn-around cycles and some are mini-projects, running up to several weeks in effort and completion timeframes. There is a possibility to extend the resource need past the initially projected length of the contract.
