Consulting Opportunity, Big Pharma (Collegeville, PA)These jobs are unique because as a consultant, you get premium pay rates, but you get these rates as a salary with full medical and vacation benefits. For all practical purposes, you're a full time employee for our company but you work onsite at our client. This program was designed to retain good consultants for longer terms. The co-employment laws were stating that consultants could only work for 12-24 consecutive months for a specific client, but by making consultants full time employees of our organization, we've elimimated the coemployment hassles and you can work at our client for an indefinite stay. Unfortunately this isn't the best situation for all consultants because we need them to be W2, but the major upside is being a consultant while enjoying the typical benefits of an employee, ie, vacation time, 401k, paid holidays, etc. The purpose of this post is to network with any consultant job seekers, answer any questions that exist about this engagement, and hopefully be a resource for any consultants that are seeking info on other project. I've been in the pharma industry for quite a few years and would love to be a resource or sounding board for anyone with questions, comments, or concerns about the recruiting industry. I'm very familiar with C2C, 1099, and W2 engagements and have an understanding of how the business works...
