Senior Risk Analyst (Surrey, UK)

• Lead a small team of risk analysts; - managing and developing risk assessment projects in the fields of national and international veterinary and public health (including food safety);
• Initiate new funding contracts from Defra, FSA (Food Standards Agency) and commercial customers,
• Advise policy-makers on the results of projects and offer consultancy on risk analysis (including risk assessment) issues both within and out with the VLA,
• Promote CERA science at national and international meetings and conferences by presenting and publishing in reports and peer-reviewed journals.

The post is a 3-year Fixed Term Appointment (with the possibility of extension or permanency) in Pay Band C £32,850 - £48,075 per annum.
