SPSS Database Marketing Analysis Manager (London, UK)
This popular not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Database Marketer to head up their Database Analysis team. As the Database Marketing Analysis Manager Your key objective is to extend the number of supporters / donors by applying your knowledge of statistical and data analysis to the knowledge-ware contained in this organisations data warehouse. This will involve talking to internal clients, mostly in the marketing department to understand their objectives and translating these into statistical models in order to create new marketing strategies and take donor growth forward. This role may suit a senior data analyst ready to move to team leadership road.
Specifically you will be involved in:
- Identifying data trends and new segments for prospecting
- Building propensity models using SPSS (training in SPSS if you have an alternative package)
- Liaising with internal clients and external agencies
- Monitoring existing models for their effectiveness and making modifications as necessary
- Creating better target approaches
- Manage the regular review of segment definitions
- Review best-fit profiling software and mange overlay to data and utilisation
- Manage the research into new analytical methodologies and software to meet changing requirement
- Motivate and manage a small team
To be considered in this role you will ideally have the following profile:-- A numerical education, ideally at least a bachelors in a numerical subject such as Statistics, Maths, Econometrics, Operational Research etc
- Solid experience of data analysis and statistical modelling, ideally in a database marketing environment
- Sound skills in a statistical software package such as SPSS, SAS, STATA, SPlus, Statistica, etc
- Technical experience of donor orientated Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing ideally using Razor’s Edge and The Information Edge
- Demonstrable communication skills / client handling experience
- Experience or the potential to manage and motivate others
