Business Intelligence Analyst - Sephora (San Francisco, CA)

Provide Business Intelligence to the Merchandising Department through reporting and ad hoc analysis. Assist in identifying merchandise, industry and store performance trends. Determine gaps in reporting and collaborate with IT to produce solutions. Assist with development of future report specifications for new systems implementations. Consult and train users on all reporting systems. Manage key projects as needed for Strategic Growth Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify and develop reports as needed with IT
- Support Management Team with ad hoc analysis
- Track Merchandise, Brand, and Store productivity trends
- Produce weekly, monthly, year end and holiday recap reporting
- Produce industry reporting and coordinate regular NPD presentations
- Assist with development of new reports for system implementations
- Support OTB and Planning process and systems
- Develop, coordinate and instruct training classes
- Manage special projects for SGM
- Monitor and forecast Obsolescence
- Coordinate yearly re-class activities
- Track and publish SIP results
REQUIREMENTS- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Advanced skills in MS Access and Excel
- Experience with BI tools, COGNOS a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail business analysis
