Mgr/Sr. Mgr, Risk Management - American Express (New York, NY)

This position will be responsible for development and execution of end-to-end Risk Management strategies for Lending on Charge feature. The candidate will leverage data and analytics to develop strategies and partner closely with the marketing, technologies and credit operations team to ensure flawless execution. Responsibilities include designing marketing tests and analyzing them. The position offers a great opportunity for individuals with strong thought leadership and strategic thinking skills to influence senior leaders across the organization.

Qualifications:

The incumbent should have advanced data handling, programming and statistical analysis skills to be able to effectively synthesize consumer data (knowledge of SAS/SQL is preferred). An MBA and/or an advanced degree in the areas of Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Industrial Engineering are preferred. Strong project management & relationship skills are crucial, b/c most of the work is executed across multiple cross-functional teams.
